Calcium sulfate contains 23-29% calcium, 18-23% sulfur. It is widely used in the field of feed additives. It can be used as nutritional additive and herbal medicine additive. "Leixin" brand feed additive calcium sulfate adopt pure natural gypsum as raw material, which is produced by grinding and calcinations, selecting a selected grade of high£purity white gypsum. The finished products are odorless, tasteless, high whiteness, high brightness, suitable fineness powder. It has two subclasses:
CaSO4?2H2O named Terra Alba, the dihydrate form of calcium sulfate£¬and contains about 20 percent waterof crystallization.
CaSO4 the anhydrous form of calcium sulfate is produced by calcining and milling high£purity white gypsum..
Application
Calcium sulfate in feed additives can be used as binder, anti-caking agent, stabilizer and emulsifier. It can provide calcium and sulfur, also can increase disease resistance, have high bioavailability. Calcium sulfate is a kind of economical green feed additive and can be used to feed mammalian and poultry animals.
1. Feed premix ingredients for cow, sheep, pig, chicken, duck, goose, rabbit, pigeon and other farmed animals. Calcium sulfate provide sulfur and calcium of growing, promote growth and development.
2. Calcium sulfate promotes the formation of cow¡¯s bones and teeth, added with salt (sodium chloride) can increase the appetite of cattle. Calcium sulfate has special effect on milk production of cow and egg shell formation of layers.
3. Used in pet food, supply inorganic salt for pet such as cats, dogs.
4. Used for fish, turtles, eel, crab, shrimp and other aquaculture industry.
